Chances are, you’re here because you’ve just done this year’s annual survey. I really appreciate your participation.
This survey is run by a volunteer, with costs paid by crowdfunders, which means we don’t pay to advertise. Can you help get the word out, so that we can get as many participants as possible? We usually manage to get over 40,000 participants from word-of-mouth alone.
Here are some links to social media posts for easy sharing. (They should open in a new tab so that you don’t lose your place.) Every share/boost/upvote/retweet/reblog/story/forward is extremely helpful.
You could:
- Reblog this Tumblr post
- Boost this Mastodon post
- Check out this Reddit discussion
- Repost this Bluesky post
- Share this Facebook post with your friends and with LGBTQ+ Facebook groups
- Share this Instagram post in a story
- Repost this Threads post
- Share this URL one-on-one with friends you think might be interested: survey.gendercensus.com
- Forward messages from the Gender Census channels on WhatsApp, Telegram and Discord (you can also forward messages from the Signal channel – email me for an invite to that)
Sharing offline is also particularly helpful. If you would like to share paper flyers in LGBT+ spaces, zine envelopes, etc. you can print and cut up this flyer (here’s the same flyer as a Google Doc for easy editing) to distribute all year round.
If you don’t want to share that’s okay, your participation is the most important part!
Thank you again,
Cassian
PS: Much gratitude as always to Andréa for doing the code bits!
PPS: I’ve got a name survey running on Google Forms until 19th July 2026 as well if you’re into that kind of thing?
PPPS: You can see some incoming participation statistics for the 2026 Gender Census on Google Sheets here.
